As one of the European Union’s largest agricultural producers, agriculture accounts for roughly two percent of the Italy’s GDP. Core courses in this program allow you to investigate the agricultural systems, businesses and economics of Italy. Your studies will explore the country’s large-scale production, as well as small-scale, high quality consumer goods. Courses will consider resources and environment, and the effect of local and EU policies. Your professors will take advantage of Florence’s central location to help you discover Italy’s agricultural heritage and reality as course trips outside the classroom will bring your studies to life.
