Program overview:
With Europe being the center stage for historical events during the 20th and 21st century there is no better place for students to learn and embrace history first hand. Students will be able to take their academic knowledge and apply it in the field by visiting historical landmarks and experiencing new cultures. Students will be able to do so by visiting France,
Ukraine, and Italy. Students have learned about WWII throughout their education but very few have actually been able to see historical sites in regards to WWII. This class will give that opportunity to the students. Thus taking their learning experience to a level that would not be Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program Proposal obtainable teaching this class in the states.

Europe has been in the spotlight in regards to how nations are battling the War on Terrorism. This class will familiarize students with key concepts, theories and the evolution of terrorism. Students will be able to explore and see first-hand how various countries are working on defeating the threat of terrorism. Many students view on terrorism is extremely limited due to only being exposed to American media. By traveling overseas, it will allow the students to explore the War on Terrorism from various perspectives and see firsthand how nations are working on battling the War on Terrorism.
